The Flip-Top tool stand is the perfect solution to improve your shop organization and provide additional storage and functionality. With the addition of the side cabinet it adds more rigidness to the stand and the mobile base acts a a rolling cart to quickly move your tools around the shop easier. The Flip-top tool stand also provides extra storage with the side cabinet, as well as the accessory drawer. The accessory drawer is great for storing your tool accessories or related items. Being able to have two tools in one foot print has saved a bunch of space in my workshop. having one storage cart that works as a planer stand and as a benchtop sander cart has really helped maximize my garage organization.
The Flip-top Tool stand build plans are over 70 pages of step by step instructions with color images, and detailed close-ups that walk you through the entire process to build this useful addition to your workshop. The flip top tool cart measures roughly 30″H by 30″W by 3′ depending on your build choices. The plan was made with specific design considerations to make it easily adapted to fit a wide variety of tools.
